Coleen, who finished as runner-up on the 2024 edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, is considered to have been the star attraction for Disney. Her stock is soaring, with one of the most famous WAGs in English football building her own brand after raising four children.

THE GOSSIP
Manchester United legend Wayne is, however, a big draw for producers and viewers. He is currently back on punditry duty after seeing another forgettable stint in management come to a close at Plymouth. With time on his hands, he can figure prominently in the Rooney doc.

WHAT AN INSIDER SAID
Disney are said to be delighted about that, with a source telling : “Wayne will be a big part of the show – and he is one of the main reasons why Disney were prepared to pay so much money to secure the rights.
“He's agreed to be a big part of the programme and is looking forward to it. Wayne is a lot funnier than people think and producers believe viewers will love seeing how he and Coleen interact and lead their lives. Viewers will see Wayne and Coleen doing all the normal things that any couple do – the school-run, the shopping and sorting out the kids. But the programme will also provide a snapshot into the very glamorous life they enjoy too.”
